Not many women deny the importance of being healthy during pregnancy, yet there is
still a disconnect between health and the complications of pregnancy. Proper nutrition
and the avoidance of as many toxins as possible creates a healthy situation. Most
complications of pregnancy can be avoided by adhering to healthy principles. What

While it would be too lengthy for the purposes of this section to describe the exact
mechanisms of why proper nutrition can drastically reduce the likelihood of these
complications, it is clear that nutrition places a very important role in our lives. It makes
sense though. When the body has the things it needs to work properly, it will do exactly
what it is designed to do and that is to function properly. The body is like a well oiled
machine. Nutritious food is the fuel for that machine. Complications or problems only
occur when the machine doesn’t have what it needs to run properly. In this way, it is
easy to understand that complications don’t just happen spontaneously or randomly.
This is why, with healthy foods, it is possible to avoid the complications of pregnancy.
