We believe very strongly in at least one parent being able to stay home
with their children. With the birth of my second child, I came to the same
conclusion as many other parents- there was no way I could leave her nor
did I want to. Why should someone else get to watch my baby and
experience all of her wonderful qualities every day? I find it my privilege to
be near her. I also believe it is best for children to have parents that are
present and to be able to stay at home throughout the day as they are
meant to. The problem is many families cannot survive without a two
incomes. It is sad indeed.

Therefore, we have created this page with business opportunities
designed mostly as ways to work from home with a computer. Our
commitment is to only put opportunities on here that are legitimate,
possible, practical, and reasonable. There will be no scams of any kind.
There will be no opportunities where large sums of money are required to
start up. Many of the opportunities may require a reasonable fee to start
as in most cases this is unavoidable. There will be no opportunities on
here that we do not stand behind 100%, and all of them will be ones that
we ourselves will have firsthand knowledge and experience with. We are
available to answer questions regarding anything we post on this page.
The opportunities here will require some effort on your part. Money will
not simply fall into your lap. But, the business proposals made by the
companies we recommend will be reasonable and feasible with the real
possibility of working from home.

My Shopping Genie

Our current opportunity that we are thrilled to share is a distributorship of
software called My Shopping Genie. This is truly amazing software. My
Shopping Genie allows me to shop much faster than normal. I buy many
things on the internet. I like quality items. I like organic items. I buy many
natural health and parenting books online. Our household is not big on
cheap plastic filled with chemicals. I feel many holistic parents are now
turning to the internet to do their shopping. What the Genie software
does is once downloaded onto your computer, you to do a google or
yahoo search of whatever item you are wanting to buy. The Genie
automatically pops up at the bottom of your search and finds the lowest
price. It’s really amazing. Even if you’re not interested in the business
opportunity, you can still download it for free and use it. The Genie
contains no adware, malware, or spyware.

Now, for the business side of things. For each Genie that is downloaded
under your links that you place, you will be paid one dollar. For each
person that becomes a distributor of the software under you, you will be
matched in pay for however many Genies are downloaded by any of your
distributors. The more distributors you have under you, the more you will
make. You will also be paid four dollars for each distributor that signs up
under you. All of this does have the potential to add up to a serious
income with the devotion to put your Genie links out there. This is not
where the majority of the money is made, however. The Genie has
partnerships with hundreds of affiliate programs for all sorts of things like
Amazon.com or buy.com. I think at last count, we were signed up for over
350 of them! Each time someone shops with your Genie that they
downloaded onto their computer, you will make a commission if they buy
from any one of these places. Forever. This is a seriously amazing
business plan. The best part is that the Genie is FREE to download. You
don’t have to sell anything to anyone. I loved that part! The company
provides support and gives resources on how to create opportunities for
people to find your links. The best way is to have a blog or a website.
There are tricks also to have your blog or website appear at the top of
search engines so people can find them. There is a start up cost of
$199.00 and a $29.99 charge monthly to keep your distributorship active.
I know it is easy to be put off by an upfront charge. I certainly was. I also
tend to be very leery of opportunities because I especially don’t like to get
ripped off. In this case though, once I examined the business plan and
understood how it worked, I felt much more confident. I don’t expect to
get something for nothing, and I have found the key with these type of
opportunities is to make sure that there is a way to recoup your costs.

I recently saw an opportunity that I passed up for a partnership in a
company that offered self improvement courses. They had retreats that
cost over $10,000.00 to attend. There was also around $2000.00 for all
the startup costs. There would have been potential to make thousands
with each sale of the retreats, but I thought for that much startup cost,
who on earth am I going to sell these to? And then of course the retreats
are limited in number and spaces. Needless to say, this is why I love the
Genie opportunity. We spend some time and effort to keep our websites
at the top of search engines so people can find our links and the rest
